my IPAD will not connect to internet
iPod nano (4th generation), Windows XP
It does need a router to connect to. If you have one at home, try rebooting it.
Also, adding more info would help. Like, in Settings>wifi, do any networks show up. If so, what happens when you try to conntect to them? etc...
did that.in settings, it does connect, but only for a minute. than it said "unable to join the network"
If I do it when Im on Safari, the same thing. "unable to join the network"
Are you sure a password isn't needed? Test this... go to a public wifi area and see if the device can connect.
it dose not give me a chance for a password. if I select a different wirdless network. it dose ask for a password. also the wi-fi is working at this location.
After trying;
rebooting
reset>reset Network setting
reset>all settings
router reset
I had wifi, but no internet on my iPad.
What I didnt know, was a wee person had fastorwarded the date by one year in the date and time settings to go forward in a game, and from this small change I lost internet in the iPad.
