Just had a power cut and can't turn on iMac?

I've had a power cut and now cannot turn the mac back on! Any ideas most welcome.

iMac, iOS 4.3.3

Does the Mac react at all, or does it seem completely dead? If there's no response at all, have you checked any surge protector you have the Mac plugged into to see if its fuse has blown? Tried a different power outlet?

Make sure the plug is secured on the back of your iMac.
