Q: imovie '11 v. 9.0.9 lost photos during project

I have done many slideshows on imovie and this has never happened.

When I click on the camera icon to bring up a folder of photos

I have been using on project, nothing comes up.

This is the small screen in the lower right of full window

where you bring up text, music, photos, themes, etc.

I have also clicked on the 'musical note' icon to

access my songs and again nothing comes up.

The screen remains blank.

Anyone know what's wrong?
