Cannot Join WPA2-PSK Wi-Fi

We have started a BYOD policy in the office and couple of people have purchased MAC books. Our Production Wi-Fi Security is WPA2-Personal PSK (802.11g) and both MAC users cannot connect to it. iPhone’s and iPads can connect. All other laptops connect with no problem. Is it that MAC's dont like that secuirty combination Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hey 1741kevin,

Thanks for the question. I understand you are having issues with two MacBooks not connecting to your office network. To address your main concern, the following article may help:

iOS and OS X: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points

http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4199

As per the recommended settings, the security protocol on your network (WPA2) is the right choice. You may want to look further into the details, and make sure everything else correlates with the recommended settings.

Thanks,

Matt M.
