help. touchscreen very slow and sometimes not working at all. apps will open IF double clicked but
cannot scroll. cannot delete.
You have VoiceOver switched on. You will find it at Settings > General > Accessibility.
Tap an item to select it.
Double-tap an item to activate it.
Scroll by using THREE fingers.
i dont know where to go to get teh restore function. I cant scroll to see anything. can you give me a step by step to get to the restore choice?

i see your reply axeman but i cant scroll to answer you on my ipad. i did the reset nothing happened. this is very frustrating. a black box appears around everything i want to open and i have to click it twic to open but then i cant scroll to read anything.
i did the reset thing with teh home button and start button. i did it twice actually but it didnt help. not at all. if i tap an app once a black square appears around it. If i tap it twice it opens. if i click the home button twice to try to closr open apps i cant. the red dot and white line do not appear. the touchscreen is having issues i guess .
Backup your iPad and restore: Restoring iOS Software
If you restore from a backup and the problem still exists, restore again as a new device.
If restoring as a new device does not help it is most likely a hardware problem. You will need to make a Genius Bar appointment or contact Apple for a repair.
Try resetting: Hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons and don’t let go until the screen goes dark and the Apple logo appears

i read on the apple website that maybe i should reboot or restore it but i dont know how.
