DVI to Mini DisplayPort

Hello,

I am looking to use my iMac as a monitor. It has support for Target Display Mode. The source of the machine I am trying to display is DVI or HDMI. What type of cable or converter I would have to purchase? I tried to look for the correct cable but can only find Mini DisplayPort to DVI or HDMI. It would not work the other way around.
