.zip corrupt?!

I store older work in various .zip files using the native OS compression feature. I went to access the content of one of my .zip files this morning and was met with a Unable to expand message (see attached image). Can someone tell me what this is about and how to address? I've tried to open on a couple of different volumes at this point with the same result.
