album artwork not showing

The fundamental thing to have artwork always showing is to embed the artwork to the music file so that the artwork can be transferred along with the music files. Tenorshare Music Cleanup comes in for help. This program automatically finds artwork for all the songs in your music collection and then you can embed the artwork in just a click.

If the above suggestion do not work try this: Simple Reset, press and hold both power and home buttons together until the Apple logo appears (about 15 seconds) then release both buttons. If that does not work try going into Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. If that does not work connect to your computer with the cable go into your iTunes library click on the iPod go to Music and uncheck Sync Music, after a minute or two re-check it. For the next bit of fun make backup copies of all your stuff on the iPod to your computer, photos, music, videos etc. first (anything that can be wiped) and Restore from backup. If that doesn't do it Restore to New iPod, and then add back your stuff from the computer. If you had the artwork it should still be there, Good luck.

This happened to my ipod classic. I connected my ipod and unchecked the music sync and synced the ipod then disconnected and connected again and synced the music back. Artwork is back.
