Yeah my campus uses something called Xpressconnect in order to connect to the campus wifi and I have put in my password and it has given me a green check and says i am connected but Im clearly not. I have uninstalled and reinstalled this Xpressconnect multiple times, restarted my computer, tried to look up terminal commands, made sure proxies and file sharing stuff was off, and just recently I restarted my PRAM and reinstalled Mac OS X and the wifi still doesnt work

  1. try a different browser
  2. talk to the IT people at your university.

It helps to bring a donut when talking to IT people.

  3. Check your firewall settings. Try turning off the firewall.
  4. If you have something like LIttle Snitch on (something restricting outgoing network traffic), turn that off.
  5. Try deleting all your network settings and redoing them.
  6. Try deleting your network .plist files, and restarting, and redoing the preferences.
