Hi I've just installed the latest update 10.8.5. I was hoping it would fix this long standing problem with the mail app being broken by having the wacom Bamboo tablet connected.
The symptom is that the mail viewing window greys out and is pretty much unresponsive to mouse or pen. Has anyone else come across this and any fix or work around?

Keep in mind, your Wacom tablet sofware is designed to be used with grahpics software, not the Mac Mail app.

I am a grpahic designer and depend on my Wacom Tablet working. Should I not upgrade to 10.8.5? I am currently running 10.6.8. What shoudl I upgrade to? I found myself forced into upgrading because my iPad, which is running the latest OS, will no longer work with 10.6.8.
I'd love some help.
