I want to stream movies purchased in itunes to my ipad rather than download them. I don't have enough memory to store all these movies and shows. Will there be a feature like this in iOS 7? Also, what is home sharing?
You don't.
iTunes is download only.
You can stream them from iTunes on your computer (not from iTunes store) to the iPad using Home Sharing.

If you've downloaded (or rented) movies to your iTunes library, you can use Home Sharing to view them on your iPad over your Wi-Fi.
