My iPad charged just fine right out of the box and now the first time I try to charge it nothing happens when I plug it in to the wall or computer.

1. Clean docking port with clean tooth brush
2. Try another wall socket
3. Try another cable (make sure it's an original Apple cable)
4. Try another charger (make sure it's an original Apple charger)
- try a different charger
- if that doesnt work, since u already tried different outlets, get device replaced
Try giving it a reset. Hold down the sleep and home keys until you see the silver apple. Let it reboot and try again.
you can also try swapping out the charger or the cable.
I've tried to reset it several times. After the apple goes away I get a picture of a USB port and the iTunes symbol. What's that about?
Going to try and clean the ports with a clean toothbrush now...
Something is not right, you are in Recovery Mode.
You have to follow the instructions below to recover your iPad.
Hmmm, as I was cleaning/further inspecting the charger I see that the little "teeth" are "smashed" on one end 😟 I'm going to guess this is my problem. As this is my only Apple device I guess I'll wait until morning to find new charger and hope that solves the problem.
