Download .wav file from PDF link.

Hi All

I've been emailed a .wav file from a client.

The client has attached a PDF file. When i click the attachment it opens a PDF file with instructions of what the client wants done to the audio and "download the audio sample from the link below".

When i click that it opens up a safari URL and plays the audio in the black page with just a play button and scroll bar.

Now, i cant right click and "save as". It only gives me "page source" and "web archive" as a format not .wav or MP3 etc.

Can someone help me out.This is really doing my head in! LOL

Assuming you don't have a privacy concern, copy the URL of the file and paste it into a post here. Right-click and download it. Edit the post (within 15 minutes) to remove the URL.

Tell your contact to put the URL in a normal email message. Then you can download it in the usual way from Mail. (Of course you can copy the URL and send it in a message to yourself - I could have suggested that in the first place but the forum idea came first: and I knew that would work - I needed to check it would work in Mail).

Either place the cursor in the Safari address bar (Command L works), then press Option Enter, or copy the address & paste it into the downloads window.
