5th Gen nano, no Artists displayed, only Songs

When I go to Music, I only see;

'Playlists' (contains empty On-The-Go)
Songs

I would like to see Artists!

I have seen the 'part of compliation' fix but as this happens with all tracks, the most I can do is select all and ensure the compliation option is unticked/set to no.

I have also checked that all tracks have an 'Artist' and 'Album Artist' set.

I shuffle this iPod in my car so it's not a problem then, but now I am taking this out + about it's annoying

Thanks for any pointers

Self fixed; I was being really stupid. I assumed it was a problem that would be fioxed on iTunes on my macbook. It is as simple as going to 'Settings' on the iPod and in there, enabling 'artists' to be shown on the 'music menu'

I hope this helps someone else.
