I was added into a group chat on imessage, but I no longer want to be in the conversation. Is there a way that I can leave the conversation permanently?

This is a question about iMessage,

I know that if you go to the tab on iMessage and swipe left you can delete it, but all that does is delete what was said in the past and if someone sends a message in that group conversation I still recieve it. So how do I fully leave the conversation?

No, there is no way to permanently exit the group conversation short of having everyone in that conversation either delete it or stop responding to that message.
