Uploading Calendar to Google

Does anyone know if I can upload my iPad calendar to my Google calendar. I know that I can do it the other way around...What I'd like to do is be able to use the calendar that came on my iPad and create or edit events. Then I'd like to be able to see those events on my Google calendar on my computer when I'm at work. I really don't like Google calendar, but this is what we use at work. I'd really prefer to be able to stay with my iPad's calendar. Plus, my husband and I already share multiple calendars with each other through our iPads...I don't want to have to change them all to Google.
