I am using the cable that came with my iPod when I bought it and it isn't charging my iPod anymore, it is also somehow "not certified" even though it was made by Apple themselves, it's the only cable I have and I have no money for a new one! What do I do?

Likely a bad cable. They do go bad sometimes.
- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

If defective and not abused Apple will exchange the cable.
My lightning to USB cable (from apple) says "this cable or accessory is not certified and may not work reliably with this iPod"
