ical printing carry over events

When I print my calendar the event from one day that ends on the next is not printed sequentially. The event is listed out of time sequence the next day. For example: an event starts the 1st at 5pm and ends the 2nd at 8:00am. The event is listed on the 2nd somewhere after the 8:00am event that starts on the 2nd, rather than show up first as ending at 8:00am.
