Hello, and I was one of the few people who bought the iPhone 5 in the 8 month window, but since the release of the iPhone 5c and 5s, I haven't seen any note that Apple even made the original iPhone 5. Is Apple going to drop support of the iPhone 5?

Why on earth would you think the iPhone 5 is not supported? Apple continues to support almost all its iPhones. iOS 7 is available for all phone models from the iPhone 4 and newer.
Because Ford stops making the 2013 Bronco when the 2014 model comes out, does it mean that your 2013 model is unsupported? Of course not.
Well, then how come they still have the iPhone 4S on their "Order iPhones" page but you can't see the iPhone 5, the newer form?
Because the 4S model has NOT been discontinued. The 4S is available now only in the 8GB configuration
Has Apple stopped supporting iPhone 5?
