Q: someone gave me an ipod and I want to erase their information and playlists so I can add my own, how do i do that?

Sep 15, 2013 3:18 PMby lllaass,- First try Settings>General>Reset>Erase all Content and Settings and then set it up with your account.

Connect the iOS device to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased. Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode if necessary to allow the restore.
If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.
