why i can not download Skype on my macbook air please?

What happens when you attempt to download Skype? Are you enable to download it, or unable to install it?

It does not seem that Skype has been loaded to the App Store

Interesting. I just clicked the link for iTunes store and it is working , however. The iPhone app can be downloaded in this manner.

nbar already provided you the link above. It's the one that says "Download Skype for Mac ..."

1) Click Skype for iPhone - iTunes - Apple

2) Click 'View in iTunes'

3) Click 'download'

4) Connect your iPhone to your Macbook air. If your sidebar is not enabled in iTunes, go to View > Show sidebar to enable it

5) Under 'Apps' in the sidebar, find Skype, and drag the Application to your connected iPhone device in the sidebar.

6) Navigate to your device in the sidebar, click Sync

Once it downloads you must open the .dmg file and drag the application into your applications folder.
