Does MacBook Pro 13" Retina Supports 2560x1600 HDMI Output?

Hi, I tried one of the HDMI to DVI adapter on my MacBook Pro 13" Retina, and the screen only shows a 1280x800 option. I am wondering if Macbook Pro 13" Retina supports 2560x1600 HDMI output, and if it does, can it work with HDMI to DVI adapter (which adapters to be specific)? Thanks!

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5)

"Officially, Apple reports that the Retina Display MacBook Pro models can support two displays up to a 2560x1600 resolution via the Thunderbolt ports or one display with a maximum resolution of 2560x1600 via Thunderbolt and one display up to a maximum resolution of 1920x1200 via HDMI."
