Sep 16, 2013 1:53 PM in response to chicoasherby dalstott,Get an external hard drive large enough to serve as backup and media storage. Then with disk utility you can make two partitions (MacOS extended Journaled with GUID partition table). You can select how large the partitions are to accomodate your needs. After this name and use one partition for backup and the other for storage. Consider making the backup a clone (Carbon Copy Cloner or Super Duper) as this can be used as a boot disk for restoration or troubleshooting.
