Thanks. I hope they add support for our cameras soon, but we won't find out until they do.

It's annoying. I've spoken to a lot of people on online forums who would be tempted by E500 RAW support, and I'm sure the same is true with the D-Lux 2. I think Aperture has the potential to tempt a lot of people away from Photoshop - which is a programme aimed at digital artists more than photographers - and other photo software, if only Apple extended their RAW support.

I, too, love the D-Lux2/Panasonic LX1 and have written about it extensively in my blog.

I emailed Apple for the RAW fix right after getting this little jewel, but wonder how forthcoming they will be as Panasonic just discontinued the LX1, meaning the D-Lux 2 cannot be far behind.

It's a wonderful point-and-shoot - glue a 28mm finder on it (it defaults to 28mm when switched on) and you have the modern digital Leica we have all been waiting for and, unlike that forthcoming masterpiece, can actually afford.
