Q: is my iphone backing up?

does anyone know how to confirm that my phone is being backed up ? it said lock it and it will back up, but no where on my computer or phone does it say that my phone is being back up

iPhone 4, iOS 6.1.3

    if you are doing a icloud backup

    on your phone go into

    settings>icloud>scroll down click storage and backup> then back up now

     

    make sure you are connected to wifi or the back up now option willl be greyed out

    to view the back up and make sure it was complete ,

    click on " Manage storage "  on the storage and backup screen
