Hi Myreiac,


Here's what the Apple Support site says you can do if you do not have access to a computer when your device has been disabled:


If you are using Find My iPhone, you can use Remote Wipe to restore your device. If you have been using iCloud to back up, you may be able to restore the most recent backup to reset the passcode.

You can access Find My iPhone via the Find My iPhone app on your iPad.

Oh, Gail, "chippies" are a very different thing than "chips"! Though apparently, the meaning is different in the U.S. than the U.K and possibly Austrailia. (See the first entry if you search Google).
