Q: my itunes id did not change when my apple id was changed. How do I correct this?

My itunes account id has not updated since I chnaged my apple email account info.  How do I correct this?

    CHANGING APPLE ID/EDIT ACCOUNT INFORMATION/CHANGE ITUNES COUNTRY

    Tap Settings / iTunes & App Stores, then tap the Apple ID signed in. Sign out of the current Apple ID account and then sign in with another account or create a new Apple ID http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2731?viewlocale=en_US

    To edit account information tap Settings / iTunes & App Stores / Apple ID: / View Apple ID

    To change your iTunes Store country, sign in to the account for the iTunes Store region you would like to use, tap Settings/iTunes & App Store/Apple ID/View Apple ID/Country/Region

    Tried all your suggestions. Did not solve my problem. PLEASE help.   My situation is as such. I live in both the UK and Italy, and need both my Apple IDs with bothe their region settings for valid reasons (eg i need the UK store for my english books etc and my italian store for my phone settings and vice versa) it has worked very well for the last two years. Since July this year, having spent a month in the US (I do not and have not set up a US apple ID) when I try to obtain a past purchase made in the UK store, it tells me "purchase can only be made in UK store, you will be directed to the UK store" (or something to the effect) I click OK and it sends me to the US store!

     

    I have tried everything you mentioned up there but it still does the same thing.

    Basically, what I am saying is, I tried what you said, changed my cregion to UK, it takes me to the US store!

     

    When I log in with Italian ID, it takes me to Italian store, when I log in with UK id, it takes me to the US store. I suspect there is an app somewhere that is pushing me to the US region, overiding the Apple settings?
