Picture Question

Hey everyone-
I'm working on something and I need to make a picture that is obviously a rectangle into a shape like this: http://homepage.mac.com/behindthescenes5/.Pictures/shape4.jpg

I don't have photoshop or anything. I tried distorting it in Final Cut Pro, but it didn't look so great after that. I thought this was something so simple and I've been sitting here for a while now trying to find some way to do it. Any suggestions? Thanks!

iMac G5, Mac OS X (10.3.9), Final Cut Pro 5

The shape is referred to as a trapazoid. You're going to need some sort of drawing/image program. Photoshop, Photoshop Elements (much cheaper than the full version), the open source Gimp (a free Photoshop copy), Illustrator, Freehand or other raster/vector drawing program.

Check out www.versiontracker.com and do a search for such programs. You may find some simple shareware or free apps, other than the Gimp, that can do what you need.

Thanks for your reply. Sorry it took me so long to get back to you- I was out of town for the weekend and then Discussions kept giving me and error when I'd try to reply. Anyway, I looked around Version Tracker and couldn't find anything for free that would do what I needed so I just downloaded a 30-day free trial of Photoshop and created the trapazoid with that.

Thank you for the suggestions.
