Q: My iPod won't backup to iCloud.
The message I get is "The last backup could not be completed". "Last Backup: 16 October 2012 9:46 PM", even if I use the Back Up Now button.
I also have an iPad Mini under the same ID and have no problems with regular automatic iCloud backups. I am not out of space, not even close! All recommended procedures have been followed. I have no idea what to do at this point. Any ideas out there??

I got some help from randers4 from the iCloud community and a solution he posted for someone else. I deleted a previous backup and it allowed new backups to be performed. Problem appears to be solved.
