Connecting to a projector

Hello.

I have been asked to do a presentation, which I shall created in Keynote.

I do however need my MacBookPro (from 2011 with Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5) to connect to an external projector.

I have been told, I need a cable, but nothing more than that.

What exactly do I need? 🙂

Thanks.

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.5)
