Cannot find my songs on MacAir when syncing IPOD

I have a new MacAir 2013. I have a Classic IPOD. I've set up a new itunes account, and cannot remember my old account password/username. When I sync the IPOD to the MACAIR, none of my songs appear in the startup menu.

So, I have two issues -- one, finding my songs on my old Itunes account, and two, syncing my old IPOD to the MACAIR.

If you're able to recall your Apple ID (usually an email address), you can reset the password using these steps:
