Different thumbnail from iPhoto and iPhone

Why events thumbnail in iphone is not the same of iphoto?

iPhoto '11, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.4)

because one is on your Mac and one is on your phone - there is no connection of any sort between events on the two - two seperate pieces of hardware running totally different software with no data connection except moving photos via PhotoStream or syncing

But I do I sync the two devices, all photos, events, albums are imported with iTunes.

why there is no connection between the two devices?
