what is "mactunepro"

I clicked on some site that was supposed to be an article, and got some auto DL for something called "mactunepro" Now my entire tunes library is blank, and I'm getting a 'go to the itunes store' or 'scan for media' buttons.

Songs and music videos you add to itunes appear in your music library. Your music purchases in iCloud will also appear wherever you're signed into the iTunes Store."

What is this crap, and where are my thousands of songs I've downloaded over the last 6 years?

Is this what you downloaded?

If so, there's no telling what sort of damage it might have done. Do you still see your track files in user/Music/iTunes? If so, you may just have lost the iTunes library file and may be able to recover it from your backups or from a "Previous iTunes Library" folder. If the track files themselves are gone, then you'll probably need to restore the entire iTunes folder.

Regards.

Thank you so much. I located all of my iTunes library, apparently in tact, in the folder you directed me to. Firstl, I cannot find any file or app called mactunepro in a spotlight search, nor in downloads, in the 'today' window. Now, how might I re-load all of the iTunes library back into the iTunes program? (Or music library?)

Thanks again. I have emailed mactunepro and told them of the autoinstall and ask for instructions or an app to uninstall the program. (Even though I can't find it.)

It, by the way, came from this site http://nadproductions.ca/redboxmedia/img/portfolio/owl-dies-from-rat-poison but THIS IS NOT AN INVITATION!

Do you see an iTunes Library file in the iTunes folder? If not, do you see a "Previous iTunes Libraries" folder and if so is there a file in it with a recent date?
