Moving iphone information from one computer to another

My desktop computer is dying. I will need to use a new computer to udate and sync my iphone. Do I need to copy and move files to the new machine in order for that to become my home computer?

iPhone 3GS, iOS 5.1, WIN 7 Pro 64-bit

All you have to do is copy the iTunes folder in the My Music folder to the same location on the new computer.
