Windows 7 on a MAC Laptop, (Copy and Paste Screenshot)

I have windows 7 loaded on my Macbook Air and had planned to use the laptop for my work. I am in telecom and have to copy and paste screenshots for test data on the telecom equipment that I test and turn up. I just got this laptop and loaded Windows 7 using bootcamp. I was extremely pleased with everything about the laptop until I realized I could not copy screenshots of equipment settings needed for test data sheets. I have no problems copying and pasting text with the "control and command" keys. Is there a work around without having to use third vendor software?

Why can't you use the Windows 7 screen snipping tool to capture an image of the screen or window? Start > All Programs > Accessories > Snipping Tool

Or am I missing something? You should think about asking your Windows question in a Windows forum where the Windows gurus hang out.

Bob, If you check the top of the forum, I'm in a windows forum of a MAC forum. If I can't find my answer out on a MAC forum I seriously doubt anyone not familiar with a MAC is going to be any help. I've known for 20+ years how to copy and paste using Windows.

I have to perform the copy and paste function dozens of times within an hour and I'm not going to deal with the cumbersome snipping tool in Windows. The shortcut function I'm talking about on a PC is "Fn-Alt-PrntScr"

I'm new to a MAC and it's looking to be short lived experience with MAC unless I find a shortcut function.

Since you have windows 7 loaded on your Macbook Air, thus it's no wonder that you couldn't press "Ctrl+Command" keys to take a screenshot. it won't work. However, there exists other ways for you, for example you can use professional screenshot tool to do that. In this way, you'll successfully screenshot on your laptop.
