Q: An audio file doesn't play in an iBook

Hello,

I've got a widget that must play a sound when a tap an image.

It works fine on simulator, both iOS and device (using Widget Tester), but when I try in iBooks I don't get any sound. It's a .m4a file and the widget was developed with iAd Producer.

Anybody could help?

Did you try just dragging that sound to a page and seeing if it works when you export an .ibooks file to your iPad?

Hi!

Do you mean like a multimedia widget?
Yes, it sounds.
At the same iBook page, like a multimedia widget it sounds, embed in a HTML widget it doesn't sound.

No.
I developed it with iAd Producer and also have a version using only HTML5, CSS and javascript (works fine on Safari and other explorers)
