Does anyone know why i see the word/folder 'Icon' in my EXS24 menu?
Its appeared since i upgraded to LPX.
MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)
I put a file named Icon in this folder:
So if you delete it from the folder shown above (Users/"You"/Music/Audio Music Apps/Sampler Instruments) and choose refresh menu from the EXS24, it should be gone.
I dont see an icon file in that folder for some reason. Ive tried putting a text file called 'Icon' in there and removing it but it didnt work.
About your text file test: that wouldn't work, EXS24 ignores text files. I copied an actual icon file over from elsewhere on my Mac.
Your icon could well be invisible, somehow attached to one of the folders, or there could be some other small bug here - also indicated by the fact that the letters of your word 'icon' are positioned too high in the selection beam, almost as if there's another selection with no name beneath it.
Via a maintenance utility or a simple script you can make invisible files visible. Then you can delete the icon file from that folder. Or you could just leave it there and ignore it. It won't do harm.
Yea ive tried that but its made no difference.
It must be a bug!?
