Q: Want to allow user from outside my network to access a directory on My mac mini server
I have configured my mac mini server so my colleagues can access our business directories remotly. That i sworking fine.
I have an external hard disk connected to my mac mini, on this hard disk I have crated a customer directory so my customers can connect to their own directory to pickup large files. It doesn't work??
1. I have created a user called Customer and allowed him to on read-write the customer directory on the external drive.
2. when to file sharing on the server and allowed that user (customer) to access the Customer directory on the external drive.
When I connect via ftp to my public address and give the customer name and password I don't get the Customer directory but all my company information which I share with my colleagues? Why?
Can someone help me?
The mac mini have Lion 10.8.5 and the server software of Apple.
Thank you
Gabriel
