Why am I losing signal on my iphone 4 when it's connected to the t.v. through the apple HDMI adaptor? This adaptor works fine for streaming netflix from my first generation ipad to my tv, but not from my iphone 4. Thanks!

The product description says it supports video out for iPhone4. When I hook it up I initially see the Netflix loading/start-up page on my t.v. But then my phone drops the cell signal and the app shuts down. I have no problem watching directly from the phone (have unlimited data plan) or when hooking my iPad to the t.v. Over wireless (but my data usage is limited - mifi).
