aperture keeps updating
I have updated Aperture to version 3.4.5 but the App store keeps offering the same update over and over again. Any suggestions how to end this?

Do you have more than one copy of the app on this computer, perhaps in another boot volume that is mounted?
Ernie
If Ernie's suggestion isn't the problem then
First make sure that after the update Aperture is really at version 3.4.5. Start it and look at the About Aperture screen. Check to make sure it says 3.4.5. If it is not 3.4.5 post back.
If it does show it as 3.4.5 make sure you are not renaming or moving Aperture once it is installed.
Finally if all that fails drag Aperture out of the Applications folder into the Trash, log into the Mac App Store using the same Apple ID you used to buy Aperture and install it fresh.

Frank and Ernie, Thanks. I do have version 3.4.5, haven't renamed it or anything. I have reinstalled Aperture but the moment I return in the App Store it tells me it has an update for Aperture. Drives me nuts.
I have reinstalled Aperture
Have you reinstaleld it from the AppStore, using the same Apple ID you are signed in with now?

And what about Ernie's question? Is there really no other copy of aperture? Maybe in a local folder? On a connected volume somewhere?
Yes, same ID, etc.
I do have a Timemachine backup. Could this be the problem. Never had this issue before.... I really appreciate the help.
I do have a Timemachine backup.
Is there another drive connected to a TimeCapsule or something? The Aperture backup in TM's backup.db could not be causing this.
Maybe the app store cannot write its preferences files - try Carolyn Sammit's fix and remove the Cookies:
