i dont know the carrier of the iphone and if its ios 6 or not and i dont know the gb is there anyway i can get into the phone without the sim card?

Where did you purchase the phone? What did the seller tell you about the phone? You should be able to get the information about the device if you know the model number and check that at the Apple website.
