How do you erase MIDI data on, for example, a piano track after it has been added?

I can't seem to simply get rid of it? I don't see anything saying ''reset midi draw data'' or something similar anywhere else. Surely it can't be that hard?!

Logic Pro X, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5)

Think I may have solved the issue using the ''delete'' key... Jesus, what is wrong with me tonight!
