It appears Apple download servers are overloaded today. I got the same error trying to update iTunes and I couldn't update to IOS 7.
Try the combo Updater.

One poster said they had chatted with App Store support who confirmed the problem.
iTunes dowload from the link provided is working. OSX gets an error.
Due to heavy traffic I expect.... download will run when it is completed. Download may have dropped but is not complete. Try during a low traffic time.
This message appeared when I tried to updated to 10.8.5 "The operation couldn’t be completed. (NSURLErrorDomain error -1102.)(102)"
