What're Facetime and iMessages (not?) doing?

Sep 18, 2013 1:01 PM in response to JungleTaxi Cabbieby vanillaradio,Same here - imessage and facetime both say 'Waiting for activation'. Keep getting 'connect to itunes to use push notifications'.
I've connected and sync'ed - still nothing!

Sep 18, 2013 1:53 PM in response to JungleTaxi Cabbieby JohnnyAT&T,I am having the same exact issue. iMessage and Facetime say they are "Waiting for activation". Both work fine on my iPad but not my iPhone. I recently updated to ios7 today.

Sep 18, 2013 2:23 PM in response to Carl_eoinby JohnnyAT&T,Everything that i have found on the developer boards says that if you reset your phone and set it up as a new iphone that the problem alleviates. I would hate to have to do that, however, unless it was absolutely necessary.
Anyone have any solutions?

Sep 18, 2013 3:46 PM in response to Carl_eoinby getchaos,Try this trick... it worked for me (RedSn0w deactivation fix)
don't worry about not having a developer account as mentioned in the article...the developer account was only necessary when it was still in beta mode.
