IOS 7 wallpaper resizing will not shrink photo to fit screen...

After update, wallpaper stretchs larger than image. Unable to resize smaller to fit screen. My photo only measures 24k @ 261x231 and is HUGE; bigger than the screen can accommodatem (shrink). Cannot resize smaller to fit screen. Any ideas/suggestions? I have tried resizing my photo (smaller crop in size and dimensions) and photos render too large for screen. Cannot resize smaller to fit. I know I am repeating myself. Just to be clear. Am I doing something incorrectly in IOS 7? Any ideas/suggestions or similar problems solving input would be appreciated.

No true Apple user cares about work arounds. We are talking here about errors in Apple programming that has been there simce the release of iOS 7.0, years ago.

This is about the disconnect at Apple with their own programming.

We just need to make sure we ALL submit feedback every time we complain about something on the site. Maybe, just maybe, if they get enough feedback requests they'll do something. I don't think they pay much attention at all to what we post on the site unless they think it's slanderous or somehow politically incorrect.

I too am having the same problem and this may be a deal breaker. I have an IPad, I don't want all the parralax stuff, I want a full screen wallpaper centered on what I want it to be centered on. Anyone have a fix for this?

I can't Scale or move a picture that I am setting up as a wallpaper.

I am a photographer that likes to show my clients the work I do. It's handy to have one of my photographs as the lock screen and wallpaper.

I just turned of the Parallax Effect and my wallpapers have returned to normal.

See this article for how to do it:

Edited to add:

Just found this article on how to make your own parallax wallpapers. Hopefully this will work if you do not want to turn the effect off.

I was able to rectify the larger picture by just resetting it as my wallpaper again. The thing is you have to take a few extra steps that are easy to miss:

1. Go to photo you wish to use

2. In the bottom left corner of the screen, click the blue box that has an up arrow coming out of it (you will see a check mark in the bottom right corner of the photo)

3. Click "next" at the top right of the screen

4. Scoll the menu and select "use as wallpaper"

5. Click "next" at the top right of the screen again

6. Move and Scale

7. Click "set" and choose appropriate action.

Hope that helps.
