iPhone 5 "Could Not Activate iPhone" iOS 7

My iPhone 5 wont activate after installing iOS 7 on itunes, it keeps saying Your iPhone could not be activated because the activation server could not be reached. it told me to come here! and i am really annoyed and worried.

I updated my iPhone 4s to ios 7 and it told me to restart the phone so i did so and it updated. My iPhone turned on and i needed to activate it but i wont activate.. it keeps saying "Your iPhone cannot be activated because the activation server cannot be reached. Try again later" I keep trying and been trying for 3 hours and i NEED my phone by tomorrow early morning. i am very worried. what should i do?

My suggestion is to just keep trying. There's no trick to this. Restarting may or may not help. But one thing is for sure, Apple servers are busy keeping up activating iPhones.


I'm one of the lucky ones that tried for about half an hour and got my phone activated.


It's still a surprise to me that people get frustrated everytime Apple releases an iOS upgrade. If you guys are a long time iPhone user, this should not come as a surprise to you and anticipate the demand. If your phone is something that you use for business or cannot be disconnected for a long time then you should probably waited a day or two for the upgrade.


Just keep trying guys. Best of luck to everyone.
