what happens when I delete a photo from my iPhone

When I delete a photo from my iPhone what happens with the next iCloud sync? Does it get deleted from my other devices and computer?

Does it make a difference if photostream is on or off?

iPhone 3G, iOS 4.2

If the photo is only in the Photo Stream on the other devices it will be removed. If the photo has been moved/imported into the Camera Roll (mobile device) or iPhoto Library (on a Mac) then it will remain but removed from the Photo Stream.

Just ran a test with the new Photos V2.0 and here are the results:

When deleting the photo from the My Photo Stream on the iPhone it is only removed from the My Photo Stream on all devices. It remains in the Camera Roll on the iPhone and in the library on the Mac.

However, if the photo is deleted from the Camera Roll on the iPhone it will be removed from the My Photo Streams for all devices but not from the Photos Library on the Mac.
