big red stripe on my 27" thunderbolt display

i am experiencing this big red stripe down the middle of my screen. new 15" mbp and same 27 inch thunderbolt display. i took it in to the apple store where they were able to replicate the issue and so they replaced my logic board. picked it up last night and within an hour of use, the big red stripe faded in, and has been there now for 4 solid hours.

its pretty distracting, and im pretty frustrated to be honest. anyone else having this issue?
