In the Read before You Install iTunes file it says:

Software:

  • OS X version 10.6.8 or later
  • 400MB of available disk space
  • iTunes in the Cloud, iTunes Match, and iTunes Radio availability may vary by country
  • iTunes Radio requires OS X version 10.7 or later.

Not sure whats not in 10.6.8 that cant run Radio...

Thanks for letting me know why iTunes Radio wasn't working for me. I really am stupid. I've been trying to get iTunes Radio to work in Snow Leopard with iTunes 11.1. I really should take the time to read those upgrade notes. Too bad there's no iTunes Radio support in 10.6.8. My bad. I have Mountain Lion on an external drive I can boot from to test iTunes Radio.

So, wait, let me see if I understand this. No iTunes radio on my Macbook Pro (an Apple product) running OS X 10.6.8 (an Apple OS), but, on my work HP laptop (not an Apple product) running Windows XP (an even older, non-Apple OS), it runs just fine.

Gee, thanks, Apple......😠
