ios 7 calendar problem

I had similar issues. All of my past events under my "Personal" calendar were not there. I went to Settings/Mail,Contacts,Calendars/Sync and changed the setting to "All Events" (other options are 2 Weeks Back, 1 Month Back, 3 Months Back, 6 Months Back). Not sure if this did anything or not.

I needed to see all my doctor appointments I had had over the past year (they still showed up on my desktop calendar, but not my iPhone). So I went in to each doctor appointment on the desktop, editing the name slightly, and it then appeared on my iPhone. This was a pain, but I got all my doc visits back on my phone so I can search for them. Note that repeating events in my Personal calendar still showed up. It was only solo events that would not display.

Seems like Apple made a mistake on this one.

I had this problem on my iPhone 4 after upgrading to iOS7. Apple tech support gave me the solution. At the bottom of the calendar screen, tap Calendars. On the ensuing list, make sure Calendar is checkmarked. If not, tap it to checkmark it. That fixed my problem, anyway.

I have an iPhone 4 that I upgraded to iOS 7 four days ago. I was syncing tolerably well with iCal until this morning, when all the calendars were deleted and with them all events. When I tried to add a new calendar, Calendar crashed. Thank you,

I'm having this same problem. In addition, all my events have been deleted from iCloud when I login.

I am really really MIFFED. Apple should have told everyone on iphone 4 to NOT upgrade to IOS7 or they should have tested this better and ironed out the bugs

Now I am lost, my iCal do not help and creates confussion.

That works on iPhone 5. "Calendar" button RichKC is referring to is the mobile device iCal screen, not your Mac iCal display. There are invisible checkmark buttons there to the left of each iCal type of event which you need to tap to enable on your next sync. This same problem happens everytime there's an iOS upgrade (?) so you would think that Apple would alert people. If they did it's buried somewhere in the fine print where no one will ever find it. A very Windows kind of sloppiness on Apple's part, but this is nothing new: it has been going on for years now. Even pre-Steve's demise.

My calendars were not syncing to my mobile devices since I updated my iPhone 4S to IOS 7. Eventually I discovered that, while my desktop had me logged into iCloud as myname@me.com, my iPad and iPhone had me logged in as myname@mac.com. I deleted that iCloud account from both devices and re-logged in so that all three were identical and everything synced perfectly. Good luck.

Okay, what I think I've learned (I'm not techy) is that the default calendar when making appointments on my iphone no longer defaults to the google calendar after the ios7 upgrade. My gmail and contacts were syncing, and events entered from browser into g-calendar were showing on my phone, but events entered on my phone weren't recorded online. Opening calendar on my phone, and selecting "Calendars" at the botton of the screen I saw more that one calendar selected (check mark)for display. Only one of these calendars is the google calendar. Under "Settings" - "Mail, Contacts, Calendars" toward the bottom there's an option to select "Default Calendar". Additionally, every time an appointment is made there's an option to select which calendar to place the event. Solved my problems!

I have the same problem did you ever get it sorted ? I agree if you go in and change an event in the past it appears in your iphone Calendar but not otherwise ? any ideas?
